I’m sick. I woke up at 6, and Kerning called me on my cell phone. She was hysterical. Distracted, I started getting ready for school, and got on the school bus. Kerning was telling me about how she was nervous about our first day at school. I told her it was nothing, how Minnesauke was a good school, and that it would be exactly the same as Ward Melvile. But then after pulling up in the field behind Minnesauke, I remembered I was sick, and wasn’t supposed to go to school. I got off the bus and called my mom, and then I saw Leonard. I ran up to him and gave him a hug, and then told him that I was going home because I was still too sick. Then I noticed the Soul Men up on the blacktop playing basketball. Absolutely delighted, I grabbed Leonard’s hand and dragged him up to meet them. I got hugs from everyone, and I hugged Chris extra long because I’m a stoopid bitch to him. I wonder if he’s chasing Kate now. But that’s off topic. I nosed his ear and made some sort of sexy noise, but it seemed to have no effect. In fact, all the boys seemed distant from me. And Leonard was just watching me blankly, like he didn’t care about anything. I saw someone else down on the field, Rach I think, and I ran down and hugged her to the same reaction. Then I saw Cat (the one who was in charge of rec), and I got an overjoyed response from her. I told her I was sick and going home, and she was dissappointed, but I promised I would be in school the next day to help her out. And she was saying all these nice things to these ickle kids about me…One of them was Theo-o’s ickle bro…and then…

I was with Silke. We were driving around some town, laughing and looking into the windows of stores. Then it was time to drive home. We were going down this highway, and we got to this place that said we had to take a Passing Pedestrian Test. What happened was a man would run in front of the car and if you hit him then you lost your license. Suddenly I was driving, and my man was an ultra skinny mocha chocolate dreadlocks man, and I didn’t hit him. I went through the gate, and I was with my mom on bicycles with my sisters. We were riding down the highway, and then my mom said we had to cross. I was really nervous, but then I followed her over. We got to a toll booth, and we each had to pay. My mom payed first, and then I payed, and when I went through the gate my mom had crossed the highway again, this time not waiting for me. I took a deep breath and tried to go across, and nearly got hit 3 times. But I finally made it across, and we turned onto Exit 25….And I was at home. I assumed that my brain went to sleep and my legs kept pedling.
